1. First, we recommend that you not make a great big pot of coffee the first time you brew our Kona coffee. Start with four to six cups. Here's why: 2. Everyone has a slightly different preference for how strong they like their coffee, so don't be afraid to experiment until you have just the right strength for your personal taste. 3. Grind the coffee carefully, selecting the fineness for the method that you will be using. For paper or gold metal filter coffee makers, use a medium fine grind. For French Press, use a slightly coarser grind. 4. Here is the important part: The measurements on the side of your home brewer are for standard 8 ounce cups of water. 5. For each two cups of water, use one slightly rounded tablespoon of ground coffee. For absolute best results, we recommend you use filtered water but, of course, this is not a necessity. Our wonderful Kona coffee tastes great with any water! |
